CHICAGO, IL, October 9, 2018 – Conlon & Dunn Public Strategies, one of the Midwest’s leading public affairs firms, is pleased to announce the addition of Patrice Stanley to its team as vice president.
Stanley is a seasoned policy and political professional with a record of success in government relations, executive leadership, and campaign management in Washington, D.C., and at the state level. As a government relations executive, she has shaped and achieved client objectives through lobbying, coalition and grassroots management, strategic planning, campaign management, and message development.
Patrice has a deep understanding of the intersection between federal, state, and local policy. Conlon & Dunn’s mostly Illinois and Midwest-based clients will benefit from this experience, as well as her national, bipartisan network of current and former federal, state, and local government officials, political consultants, media contacts, and industry leaders.

Patrice began her career working in state and federal government. She held several positions in the Clinton Administration, including roles in the Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. She went on to manage the procurement and minority business enterprise programs for the Maryland Environmental Service, an independent agency of the State of Maryland. Prior to joining Conlon & Dunn, Patrice served as vice president at Wexler | Walker, a bipartisan government affairs firm in Washington, D.C.
Patrice has represented clients on issues including aerospace, critical infrastructure, telecommunications and technology, transportation, defense and homeland security, education, and criminal justice reform . Stanley is active in several nonprofit and professional development organizations, including Women in Government Relations, the Washington Government Relations Group, and the Women’s Congressional Golf Association. She is a former board member of the Maryland League of Conservation Voters and Habitat for Humanity Maryland.
Patrice has an undergraduate degree in political science from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
